Gainesville, FL---No matter who's taking the snaps for the Gators, the question remains, can that Florida offense move the ball and put up some points in Tallahassee Saturday?
Fans are using plenty of different adjectives to describe that side of the ball for the Gators, and none of them are flattering.
Look at this way, in the two home wins over Louisiana Lafayette and Jacksonville State, the Gator offense put up just two touchdowns....two!
First year offensive coordinator Brent Pease is aware of the adjectives getting tossed around to describe that unit!
"You know the bashing, the so called bashing," says Pease "I mean we are what we are right now. What we try, we try to improve and where we're at, it's still kind of work in progress, until we get everything in place and the kids have worked through it for a year. You hope you continue to see some improvement, and the experience has to go along with that."
And Pease's more experienced sophomore quarterback will start Saturday at Florida State. Will Muschamp saying Wednesday Driskel has looked good in practice this week and is ready to go again after recovering from the sprained ankle suffered in the Louisiana Lafayette game.
