Panama City Beach, FL-- The Panama City Beach Pirates snagged a huge win Saturday night thanks to a first half goal by Will Monsour in the 32nd minute, beating Orlando City Soccer Club, 1-0.

The video attached should show the following highlights:

To the Mike Gavlak Sports Complex where Pirate fans were ready to get the season started.

Lions on the attack as Tyler Blackwood gets a great look at goal but out of nowhere comes Drew Russell with a great tackle.

score remains 0-0.

A few minutes later, Will Monsour gets behind the defense but Ade Akinsanya rips him down, hat calls for a red card folks, and a penalty shot.

Russell would take the shot for the Pirates but Orlando's goalie, Tomas Gomez makes a great top hand save, keeping the game nil-nil.

It would remain that way until the 32 minute when Monsour takes it from David Graydon, looks cross field to an open Matthew Raines who slides it between the goalie and another defender.

Pirates take a one nothing lead into the half and would go on to win their season opener, 1-0.

Great start for Coach DeVito and the PCB Pirates.
