Indianapolis, IN.---For the second straight day, a NFL hopeful who grew up in our area getting before the coaches and scouts at the combine.
Monday it was Bay and Southern Miss product Khyri Thornton, Tuesday it was Port St. Joe alum Calvin Pryor going through the paces.
Pryor just finished up his junior season at Louisville, so he's an early entry.
His numbers Tuesday, despite what looked like a bad start, he did post an official 40 time of 4-point-5-8. decent for a safety prospect.
He put up 18 reps on the bench, showed off a 34 inch vertical leap, and a 116 inch broad jump. Then looked ok in the field drills. Calvin projected to be one of the first safeties selected in the draft which starts May 8th.
