Rams Beat Choctaw. Stay Unbeaten in District Play

Springfield, FL---The Rutherford Rams stay perfect in district play and extend their winning streak now to 14, as they beat visiting Choctaw. Tuesday 66-34.

The Rams built a quick 15-5 lead in the first quarter, though the Indians rallied to get within 7 by the end of that quarter.

The second quarter though ends on a 22-4 Rutherford run, so the Rams led it 44-19 at the half, they never looked back, winning the game by 32. Rutherford taking it's overall record to 17-2, and 9-0 in district playl

The attached video shows the following:

-Rams in the home white and jumping out to an early 10 point lead, they work it inside here to Khaliel Spearman who goes in, gets the bucket and one, 15-5 early.

-Indians counter with some three point shooting, crossover for Jaquiel Lawton, knocks down the trey, 19-11 end of one.

-Second quarter now nice handoff here to Gabe Steele who drives in and lays it off the glass.

-Choctaw. with another three ball, this one off the hands of #3 Malik Grant, it's 22-15.

-The rest of the second quarter, all Rutherford, first it's C.J. Turner from beyond the arc.

-Then it's Steele driving and pulling up for the short jumper, the Rams end the half on a 22-4 run, led it 44-19. They win it 66-34, Spearman with 18. Rutherford 17-2, 9-0 in district.
