Panama City, FL---The Rutherford Rams are still alive in terms of playoff contention thanks to a 20-14 win over rival Bay Thursday night at Tommy Oliver.

After a very sloppy first half marred by fumbles, dropped passes and several plays which gained no yards, or lost yardage, the Rams owned a 3-0 lead.

Both teams found more of a spark in the second half. Bay getting into the end zone first with a short rushing td by Telvion Malone Boyd to make it 7-3.

Rutherford answered with back to back scores, the first on a pitch play to Dondrayas Harris from the 5, the other on a run up the middle by quarterback Dallas Davis early in the 4th. The Rams had a 17-3 lead.

Travian Turrell returned the ensuing kick 90 yards for a touchdown, pulling Bay back to within a field goal at 17-14.

But the Rams add a field goal and hold on for the 30-14 win. So they're 2-6, 1-2 in district, Bay 2-6, 0-3.
