Panama City, FL---The Rutherford Rams able to rack up another district win Friday night, and a rivalry win it is, beating Bay 3-2 in 8 innings.
The Rams getting an rbi single by Nick Nelson in the top of the third.
Bay answered that with a solo run in the bottom of the 4th on Michael Clutch's rbi single to center.
The Rams went back on top when Nelson bounced into a 6-4-3 double play in the top of the 5th, that pushed across a run from third.
Again Bay came right back with a run to tie it in the bottom half of the 5th on Garrett Whittle's single to left which plated Rashard Lucas with the tying run.
It stayed 2-2 until the top of the 8th when Rutherford's Kendall Herron drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly, Tyler Broxson scoring that run, which proved to be the game winner.
The Rams now 6-2 overall, 4-2 ini 5A-1 play.

-Rutherford retakes the lead in the 5th on a fielder's choice, the Tornadoes come right back with this run in the bottom half, Garrett Whittle singles to left Rashard Lucas across, it's 2-2.
-Neither team able to score until extra innings, when the Rams
put the eventual winning run across on a sac fly. They win 3-2.
