Springfield, FL---The Rutherford Rams run their record to 3-1 with a 6-1 win over visiting Bozeman Thursday night.

The Rams taking advantage of 3 first inning Bozeman errors to plate 4 runs. That was plenty for starter Nick Nelson and the Rams pen who give up just 1 run in the game. Nelson going 4 innings, giving up that run on 1 hit, strikes out 5. The Bucks fall to 2-2 on the season.

The attached video shows the following:

Top of the first he starts strong, getting Garrett Hall on strikes.

Bottom of the first, already one error hurting the cause for Bucks pitcher Reed Ruddick, here another, Nelson's pop in shallow center falls, in come Dondrayas Harris to make it 1-0.

Then it's Tyler Chatman with the line shot to center, John Butler takes a bad angle, it's over his head, in comes Dallas Davis and Gary Pope.

Another error would allow a 4th run in that inning to score.

Top of the second, Bucks get the leadoff man on but he's erased when Christian Dillahey lines into the double play.
