Springfield, FL---The weather continues to force Rutherford's Jon Hudson to juggle the schedule of the Rams playoff opener with Wakulla. Rain postponed it Thursday night. They originally set it for Saturday at 5.
The Wakulla parents complained about that since their prom is Saturday. They moved it to five o'clock Friday night, only to have the rain wash that idea away.
So that game's now set for Saturday at noon. Coach Hudson hoping the delay won't slow his team's roll.
The Rams have won ten of 11, including two last week over Arnold and Gulf Breeze, earning them the district title.
Hudson also hoping fans will show up in big numbers tomorrow.
Be they Rutherford fans or just baseball fans in general, he promises those fans a good show!
"Yeah i think we're exciting. It's not baseball where you're sitting around watching a 1-0 game and there's nothing going on. We bunt well, we steal bases, hit for a little bit of power. There's a little bit of everything going on out there. The 5a district is a tough district to play and it's good baseball."
Again that game now set for noon Saturday.
