Lynn Haven, FL---Coach Rhondie Ross and his Rutherford Rams appear to be among the best in the Panhandle so far this season, they did nothing Thursday night at Mosley to dispel that notion.
The Rams, playing their own particular brand of high pressure basketball on both sides of the floor taking charge early and never letting up.
The Rams building a double digit lead by the end of the first quarter and eventually stretched the lead to 84-50 which was the final. Khaliel Spearman leading the Rutherford charge with 21 points.
The Rams moving to 4-0 so far this season. The video attached shows the following:
Pick it up first quarter, some spirited play by the home team, in white, off the two misses, it's Je'quan Ward getting the rebound, and then driving it down and fighting the traffic to score.
The Rams though a bit later, taking advantage of the sloppy pass, that's Alex Bank with the steal and the nice layin.
Then the full court press taking it's toll on the 'fins, Stephen Carr gets it ahead to Kiki Williamson and he knocks two.
End of the first quarter, Rams trying to stretch an 11 point lead before the buzzer, the shot's off, Nat Dixon grabs it and goes, he scores, still Rams led by 9.
Second quarter, Khaliel Spearman at the top of the key for three, then good ball movement working it underneath for Jai Jencks who jams it home.
