Springfield, FL--The Rutherford Rams spent Monday getting in a final day of work in advance of their second round state playoff game.
The Rams getting set to face Gulf Breeze in the region semifinals at home Tuesday night.
That game comes on the heel of the opening round win over Suwannee, the Rams breaking open a close game with a strong second half.
That showing a tenacity says coach Ross, developed during the regular season with a rather tough schedule.
"Yeah because we've been in some close ball games and the guys have, keep playing until the buzzer goes off. And we're in some of those adverse situations it looks as though they can reflect on some of those situations in the past. No one wants to go through a season not being tested, so being in some tight ball games definitely helps you this time of year."
Gulf Breeze one of those opponents that has pushed the Rams. Though Rutherford's beaten the Dolphins 3 times, the last two have been close, including the 5 point win in the district title game just over a week ago. That gameTuesday at Rutherford set for 7.
