Rams and Marlins clash Friday.

Springfield, FL-- We start with high school football and what is a very interesting matchup set for Tommy Oliver Friday night. It's the Arnold Marlins taking on the Rutherford Rams in what is both a county rivalry but more importantly, a game within 5-A district one. This our Southern Orthopedic Specialists game of the week. Here at 6 let's talk about the Rutherford Rams, who are heading into their first district game, and now 2-3 overall coming off the loss at Fort Walton Beach. That a game in which the Rams trailed 21-zip at the half. They did score twice in the second half, eventually losing 28-14, so a mixed bag for Jeff Rolson coming out of that one.

Jeff Rolson
Rutherford Head Coach

"We just went in at half and talked about going out and competing in the second half and winning the second half. We did that, we didn't win the game. Walked out of there feeling like we did a little bit of something, we should have won the football game, that's all there is too it. If we say the same thing next week, we got a problem because now we're oh and one in the district with three games to go, and no surety, no easy wins left, there's none."

Coach Rolson says they will focus on stopping Arnold's main weapon, tailback Andre Allen who's coming off a four touchdown performance against Lakeside out of Eufala. We'll hear from coach Hale and the Arnold camp Thursday night at ten.
