Miami, FL---There's trouble for the Florida State Seminoles in terms of one of their top recruits from the class signed in February.

Linebacker Matthew Thomas, out Miami's Booker T. Washington High School, and one of the nation's elite prep linebackers in 2012, is asking Florida State to release him from his scholarship.

Thomas says he's told Jimbo and company it's nothing personal, he just didn't make the decision he really wanted to on Signing Day. He says his mother froced him into it, and he now wants to choose between Georgia and USC!

Fisher and the Seminoles have yet to respond to that request, at least not publicly.
