Referee Training Grants 5 High School Teams One More Game

By  |

Panama City, FL-- Saturday at Tommy Oliver, Bay, Mosley, Rutherford, Escambia and Leon got to go in between the white lines for one last Spring glimpse of football glory.

The reason, of course was for some necessary referee training put on by the Southeast Officials of Panama City.

This basically was a close resemblance to an actual game that these refs could learn or hone their craft.

It's an event that comes to Bay County once every four years.

The rules were pretty simple, the ball was placed on the forty yard line going in, as one team's offense would play another teams defense for 12 running minutes.

At the end of the quarter, the two teams switched sides.

So, good job, refs?
