Springfield, FL---In the FHSAA State Tournament, Mosley and Rutherford are among the first round playoff winners from Thursday night, meaning they'll be facing off against each other in the regional semifinals this Tuesday.
The Rams beat Suwannee in their 5A region quarterfinal by a score of 3-1. Nick Nelson was dominant on the hill, going the distance with a three hitter, striking out 12 in the process. Dallas Davis, Kendall Herron, and Nelson all coming up with RBI's in the victory.

"You know that was a game the other night, we knew we had to win it, it's as big as any of the other ones. You know it's one of those deals, they knew what was around the corner, but I think they did a good job of staying focused and took care of business last night. And now today we can go ahead and get ready for this one.
"This one" is the rematch with county and district rival Mosley. It will be the forth time the Rams and Dolphins face off this season, Mosley having won the first two, but Rutherford taking the all important district final that gave the black and yellow home field Tuesday night at Shamplain if it's dried out in time.
