Rutherford Student to Compete in F-16 National Championship

Panama City, FL-- Rutherford Student Taylor Reiss has aspirations to be a part of the 2016 Olympic Catamaran Racing team, and he will begin that quest this weekend at St. Andrews Bay for the F-16 National Championships.
There will be several Olypmic scouts at the St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club that will be looking for potential Olympians in this competition.
The races will begin Friday and will continue on until Sunday.
The sport is a lot of fun to watch, especially if the wind can get up to around 15 miles per hour. As for right now, the forecast indicates Sunday's races to be the fastest at 12 miles per hour.
