Tuesday night two Bay county teams opening up their regular seasons head to head. The Arnold Marlins hosting the Rutherford Rams at Gavlak. Terrific pitchers duel in this one, Hank Hobby toeing the rubber for the Marlins, leaves a man stranded at third here with the inning end k in the first. Jesse Pace the start for the Rams, he too ends the first with a strikeout. Still scoreless in the 4th, Hobby gets Baily with the low pitch, putout catcher to first.
Bottom of the 4th, a couple of walks help load the bases, but Pace gets out of that jam with another low strike, catcher simply steps on the plate to end it. Top of the 5th, two outs and a man on third for Dondrayas Harris, he singles down the line, in comes Taylor Childs,
¶that's the game winner as Pace and the Rams pen toss a 2 hit shuout, it ends 1-0
