Rutherford ready for Pre-Season showdown with Mosley

SPRINGFIELD, Fla- The Rutherford Rams now working towards what you might call a full dress rehearsal Friday night. The Rams will take on county rival Mosley in a preseason classic at Tommy Oliver Stadium.

These preseason games give the coaches a chance to see how the team's going to perform under the lights, against somebody other than their teammates.

"We feel like we're much improved. We need to go out against Mosley and have a competitive football game and be able to execute on both sides of the football," said head coach Jeff Rolson. "They're very good, I think they're better than they were last year, they may not agree, but looking at 'em on film they're pretty good offensively. Defensively they're much improved so it's gonna be a big test for us."

That preseason game Friday kicks off at 7. Then next week the Rams open up against Florida out of Tallahassee. The Dolphins will host Wakulla a week from Friday night.
