Springfield, FL-- To prep ball and game three for the Rutherford Rams. So far the first two games of the season, a split decision if you will. A 10-3 loss in week one to Florida High but then last week a rebound of sorts, though again the offense struggling in a 7-6 win over Milton.
Nonetheless as they head into their first true road test at Escambia this week, it's a relatively confident bunch of Rams who seem to be building some early season momentum.

Jeff Rolson
Rutherford Head Coach

"Well we're approaching the games, until we get to districts, as opportunities to improve. And you know we did some great things. They're a great football team you know, they came off a big win over Crestview. So it was awesome for our kids to go out there. We've played three ballgames where we've been in it right up to the end, only two of them have counted and we're one up and one down. So hopefully we've learned from it, but it was great for the kids."

Escambia oh and two so far this season with losses to West Florida and Crestview. That game in Pensacola set for 7.
