Springfield, FL-- We start with high school football and over in Springfield as Jeff Rolson and his Rutherford Rams get set to open up the regular season Friday night against Florida High. The Rams coming off the preseason game against Mosley this past Friday, an 8 point loss. Coach Rolson has this to say after studying the film of that one.

Jeff Rolson
Rutherford Head Coach
"I think we accomplished what we wanted to accomplish. That was to play hard, show improvement. We've still got a long way to go. We've gotta get better up front, more physical in all our blocking. On defense we gotta be more disciplined in being where we're supposed to be. But Mosley's a good football team, we played well and had an opportunity at the end. And the fan support was awesome, so that was a big plus for us."

Because Bay is also playing at home Friday, the Rams will host Florida at Gavlak Stadium on the Arnold campus Friday at 7. This the second year the Rams will play under Rolson as head coach.
