Saban Suspends Star Safety

Tuscaloosa, AL---Alabama is going to be just a little bit thinner in terms of it's secondary for at least this week's game against Georgia State, and perhaps well beyond.

Coach Saban's suspended Ha'Sean, or Ha-Ha Clinton Dix indefinitely.

Saban would only say Clinton Dix violated team rules and would not elaborate. Generally regarded as Alabama's best defensive back, the safety has racked up 24 tackles in the four games so far.

Losing Clinton-Dix in the near term shouldn't strike fear in Tide fans, with Georgia State, Kentucky, Arkansas and Tennessee the next four opponents. If it's a long term eligibility issue then his absence becomes more serious.
