Seiffert, FSU 3rd Place at NCAA Championship

Pacific Palisades, CA--The second round of play of the NCAA Championship event at famed Riviera Country Club outside Los Angeles is now in the books, and the Seminoles are within striking distance.

Mosley alum Chase Seiffert among those trying to help the Seminoles capture that title, while also perhaps working to play his way to some individual glory.

Chase follows up Tuesday's two over 73 with the same score Wednesday, so he's four over par, which is tied for 37th out of the 150 golfers.

FSU as a team moving up to third place out of 30 teams, they're 8 shots behind first place Alabama. The Gators tied for 8th, 12 shots off the pace.

The field cut to the top 8 teams after Thursday's round, then it's 3 rounds of match play to determine the champ. The team standings after 36 holes are below:
