Seminoles Head To California for BCS Title Game

Tallahassee, FL---The Florida State football team is going to experience New Year's Eve California style!

That's because the Seminoles are in Southern California as of Tuesday afternoon in advance of the BCS National Championship game set for Monday night against Auburn.

The Seminoles loading up the buses Tuesday morning at the Moore Athletic Center on campus, and zipping over to Tallahassee Regional Airport.

All the coaches and players having to go through security like us normal folks when we travel, even though they were boarding a charter flight.

Despite the holiday, the team will begin practicing out west Wednesday. Their practice facility is at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, a little south of Los Angeles.

Again Newschannel 7 Sports Director Scott Rossman will be flying west Thursday so stay tuned for a series of previews of Monday's title game!
