Tallahassee, FL---Fall practice is officially under way for the Florida State Seminoles. Late Tuesday afternoon coach Fisher leading his team on to the practice field for their first session of the fall.
Actually the coach allowing the practice to begin inside FSU's new indoor practice facility. A bit later in the session, the team moved to the outside practice fields.
Before starting that first workout, coach Fisher met with the media to talk about getting things going in Tallahassee.
"Very excited for this camp and today." coach Fisher said. We're ready to get things going. Very proud of the off season I think we've had. Every report every guy looks good. Weight, conditioning, I think we've done a great job, our strength and conditioning numbers have been really good. The attitude of the team as far as workouts and things like that all summer have been tremendous. I mean a lot of leadership from the older guys, and some of the younger guys which is very encouraging to see."
Chief among the priorities for coach Fisher, finding a new starting quarterback. Most expect Jameis Winston to have the inside track after a strong spring for him, though Jacob Coker is going to get a good shot at winning the job as well.
