Fort Walton Beach, FL---It's safe to say the University of Minnesota now has it's first Shoobie getting set to play football at that school.
YoShoub, or Shoobie Timms, inking a letter of intent with the University of Minnesota Wednesday, so he's bound for the Big Ten.
Timms a 6 foot 2 inch, 265 pound defensive lineman who was a part of 45 tackles and racked up 8 sacks for coach Owens and the Vikings last season. Timms can't wait to prove himself among some of the nation's best college players.
"They're in the Big Ten so big competition level so if I can make it there, I can make it anywhere. And then after that I'm gonna try and go to the league. And If I don't make it in football I'm gonna try to be a veterinarian."
