South Walton Still Unbeaten in District, Top Port St. Joe


Port St. Joe, FL --- The gym at Port St. Joe is always a good place to watch hoops. And it was the place to be Friday night as Coach K and his Sharks were hosting South Walton in a 1A-4 district game.

The video attached above shows the following highlights. Early in the first, the Sharks in white with good ball movement, get the ball inside to Marquez Johnson, who shakes the defense on the pump fake and scores.

Then on defense the Sharks come up with the steal. The throw it ahead to Sergio Clemons for the easy layup. PSJ's up five early.

Back come the Seahawks. They swing it to Paxton Dixon who drives and gets the contested shot to fall, as they're within one.

In the second quarter, South Walton continues to attack. Casey Palmer with the steal and the easy two.

Seahawks would build a 28-21 at the half and pull away in the second half, go on to win it 55-39. Dixon lead all scorers with 17.
