PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla- Some young baseball players who are honing their skills this weekend at Frank Brown Park in the "Nations Southeastern Classic."

The weekend tournament is being presented by Ogden Sports and it involves alot of young baseball players. About 25 teams from the area, and region, are in town hitting, pitching, and catching at Frank Brown Park. The tournament includes 8 and under all the way up to 16 and under.

Play began Friday and continues all the way through Sunday.

"I think it does alot because in this day and time you can't travel too much," Panama City Stars coach Scott Davis said. "So as coaches we load them up in the mini-van and take them with you. We're their mom and dads for the weekend. I think it's a boost for the local economy out here, and get them ahead because it's been a struggle."
