Spring Jamboree at Wewahitchka

WEWAHITCHKA, Fla- Three area teams getting in some jamboree action tonight meeting on the field at Wewahitchka.

The first half of play in this three team jamboree would be the home team, Wewa, taking on Sneads.

Sun still shining bright when these two hit the field. Pretty much a defensive battle throughout, but in the 1st qtr it's Wewahitchka getting the big run from Theryl Brown, bobbing and weaving his way into the end zone for the first score of the game...extra point no good though, so it's 6-0 Gators.

Stays that way until about a minute thirty left, when Tre Keys, does this, up the middle and breaks all kinds of tackles for the big gain...

After a couple more Keys runs, they on the goaline and he punches it in to tie it up...next play they get the Keys 2 point conversion

Sneads gets the comeback win 8-6.

On to the second half of play, the Sharks hitting the field against Sneads.

Port St. Joe playing stout D all game especially early on and it's Arion Ward with the big play in the back field.

A short punt later, and the Sharks drive it to the 1 and Trevor Lang puts it in with the QB sneak...extra point no good though.

That leaves it open for the Pirates, and again it's Keys with a 1:30 left gets a big run to setup a score...

Few plays later Keys jumps into the zone, and he adds the 2 point conversion that wins it.

Again it's Sneads with the late comeback win 8-6, and they end the night with two wins in two halves...

In the last game Port St. Joe got the offense going on its way to a 27-6 win over the Gators.
