State Capitol Hosts FSU Day

Tallahassee, FL---The Florida State football team is in the middle of spring practice, but Jimbo Fisher and his guys not so busy that they couldn't take a little time out to be recognized by the state legislature.

In fact the Seminole football team honored Tuesday by the House and Senate, coach Fisher addressing lawmakers, with the championship trophy at his side.

The team then went outside to sign autographs and take some pictures with fans at the Capitol.

Coach Fisher says he and his guys are flattered with this so called "FSU Day" at the Capitol.

"We're very honored to have people that have such great status and importance to our state that they recognize the accomplishments of our team and the things that are going on how important it is to them it was truly a great honor."

Coach Fisher says the plan is to be back again the same time next year with another national title trophy in hand.
