Panama City, FL--To juco ball and Saturday evening it's a trip over to Pensacola for coach Scovel and her Lady Commodores. Gulf Coast heading into that one 12-4 overall and now 1-1 in conference play. That one loss coming this past Saturday, at home no less, against Chipola.

Roonie Scovel
Gulf Coast Head Coach
"Well we've been talking since the beginning that you need to try to hold ground at home. You know I guess we're even, we stole one on the road at Tallahassee, we lost one at home. So I guess we're even on that. So we've just gotta pick up some wins, we gotta play better to compete in this conference. I tell ya, it's gonna be tough to win. This year is a very challenging year, we've got some great teams, everybody is ranked in the top 25 in the country and night in and night out it's just gonna be tough."
Pensacola goes into Saturday 3 and oh and atop the league standings. One of those three wins a 7 point win over Chipola last week. The Lady Indians will be at Northwest Florida State Saturday, both those teams 1-1 in conference.
