Gulf Coast 94 FCCJ 59
Panama City, FL--For the Lady Commodores, it will be interesting to see if they can continue the momentum gained in their last homestand the week before last. Roonie's troops whipping Bishop State 84-28 on the 17th, then beating Jacksonville 94-59 the next night. Those two wins certainly taking Gulf Coast into their Christmas break with a confident vibe.

Roonie Scovel
Gulf Coast Head Coach

"It was a good finish, it was good for all of us to go. It was good for us to finally put a game together. We have so many freshman, so it was nice to walk away from that game and say this is how it is supposed to work. This is how you're supposed to play, how it's all supposed to pan out. Hopefully we'll remember that, if the saying's true that you're only as good as your last game, then I hope that we come back and we're as good as our last game."

Gulf Coast takes on Daytona Thursday at four eastern, same time the next day against host Santa Fe. The Lady Commodores 8-3 overall as they head that way.
