Bristol, FL-- To the prep level and check with the Bulldogs of Liberty, coach Grant Grantham and his staff now into the third week of Fall practice with between 20-25 players on the varsity level.

Grant Grantham
Liberty Head Coach

"Yeah Scott we had a great Summer, our kids worked extremely hard. The preseason practice haven't gone quite as well as we were hoping, hopefully they'll get kind of tuned in to what we're trying to do here pretty quick."

Coach Grantham's team coming off a very good year, 9-1 in the regular season, then a first round playoff loss to Freeport. The Bulldogs though losing several components to a high octane offense, especially in the so called skill positions.

"We're kind of undecided here at the quarterback position. It will either be senior Daniel Deason at quarterback, or junior Alex Marlowe. Both of them are a little inexperienced at the varsity level but can handle the job. We've just gotta decide where we're gonna put everybody. Whichever one of those is not starting will be at running back. We have Chris Dilworth, four seniors on the offensive line with Shelby Williams, so pretty good up front, if they play like they're supposed to."

The Bulldogs will play in the 5 team 1-A district four with Blountstown, Franklin, St. Joe and West Gadsden. The 'dogs will take part in a three team jamboree at Chipley Thursday night against the host team and Sneads, that starts at 6 central.
