The Niceville Eagles come east to Mosley to try and nail down the top seed in their district baseball tourney set for later this month.

Lynn Haven, FL--We start with an important district matchup on the diamond at Mosley. Niceville coming east Thursday to face the 'fins in a 5-A district two ballgame as they both jockey for position in the district tourney later this month. Eagles won their first meeting, and taking the early edge in this one. Top of the second, man at first, Corey Eller lays down the bunt, Rhodes makes the throw to get the out at first, Consoli then fires to third, but misses his diving shortstop Pitts, allowing Ranson Early to score. Nick Junger working to protect that slim lead, gets the strikeout here in the bottom of the second.
Then in the third the Eagles offense racks up five more runs, the first coming on Travis Sweeney's single to center, Kyle McDorman across. Then it's Tarpley bouncing to second Hart covers to get the out at first but can't turn and fire in time to get Ben DeVall who was running on the pitch and scores from second. Tyler Kinard adds an rbi single through the left side plating Darhower, a throwing error that richochets off the umpire scores two more, Eagles win, they nail down the top seed in that district, they're 17-5, 5-0, Mosley falls to 18-5 2-3.
