The Sneads softball team took a shot at advancing to the 2A State Championship game, but fell a couple of runs short in their semifinal game against American Heritage out of Boca Raton.

Clermont, FL--The Sneads softball team took a shot at advancing to the 2A State Championship game, but fell a couple of runs short in their semifinal game against American Heritage out of Boca Raton. The Lady Pirates playing that semifinal game at the National Training Center in Clermont. They scored 3 first inning runs, Cambridge Chason with a two rbi single in that rally. Sneads ace Karissa Childs though unable to hold the lead giving up single runs in the first, third, 4th and one unearned run in the bottom of the 7th, Sneads falling 4-3. The Lady Pirates see their season end at 22-9.
