Tuscaloosa, AL--Coach Nick Saban and his guys are getting set for a rather big road trip, one that takes them to the Keystone State. Coming off the opening win Saturday over Kent State, the Tide now looking forward to a game against Penn State.
Alabama looking pretty solid in the win 3 days ago, though it's obvious there's plenty to work on, both the players and Saban will tell you that.
No doubt this road trip will provide a much tougher test, Saban adding his guys better not believe this is the same Penn State team they beat last year 24-3.
Alabama Head Coach
"They seem like they play faster. The circumstances last year, it was real hot, it probably affected them a little bit. They have more experience, the quarterback is playing better which is probably the biggest key offensively. They have three very good runners. The strength of their team is probably the three returning receivers that were all very productive last year. They have 7 starters back on defense."
Penn State opened the season with a win similar to Bama's, the Lions beating Indiana State 41-7. That game up in Happy Valley, Tide by the way favored by 9.
