To college ball and a look ahead to Friday's Iron Bowl. Last year the Tigers went into that great rivalry game trying to play spoiler, and they almost knocked off undefeated Alabama. The Tide able to win though and they went on to win the SEC and National Championships.
This time the roles are reversed, Auburn's undefeated, headed towards Atlanta and still dreaming of a BCS title.
Either way, it's a great matchup, and a great rivalry.

Gene Chizik
Auburn Head Coach

"It's gonna be a very exciting football game in terms of, for our fans and for our players and coaches. This is the kind of game that you love to play in. This is what college football is all about. Just a great rivalry against, obviously a great opponent, and it's gonna be a good football game. So we've got to really prepare well these next two or three days."

That game in Tuscaloosa Friday, 2:30 central. Word is the students at Alabama are collecting thousands of monopoly dollars to shower on Cam Newton when he's announced. Tide by the way favored by 5.
