Tide Preparing for Trip to Missouri

Tuscaloosa, AL---Nick Saban is not one to allow his team to overlook any opponent, and he certainly is working hard to make sure his guys take this week's road trip seriously.

Alabama, the consensus number one team in the land, is getting back on the field Saturday after a nice layoff.

Saban and the Tide have yet to play in the month of October. Following the home win over Ole Miss, they were able to enjoy a bye week.

That giving them two weeks to prepare for the first ever trip to Missouri, and it really is the first ever trip for the guys in Crimson.

"We're playing in a place where, nobody in our team meeting today has ever been before, including me. So you know, we're playing a new opponent, that in my mind is a very challenging opponent for a lot of reasons. They're a very good defensive team, they're ranked nationally in most categories you know defensively. They're physical, they're tough, they're very aggressive."

Probably not as tough, aggressive and talented as that Tide defense though.

Missouri 3-3 coming in, the 3 losses to Georgia, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. That game in Columbia a 2:30 central time start. Alabama is favored by 3 touchdowns.
