Tornadoes Defeated in Barnstorm Classic Championship

Panama City, FL --- High school teams playing in Christmas tournaments all over our area all weekend covet one thing. A championship. One was on the line tonight at the Bay Barnstorm Classic.

The host Tornadoes, looking for revenge against a Leon squad they lost to by one earlier this year.

The home team was bringing it early. In the highlights attached above, a Tommy Wade lay in makes it an early two point lead.

Then it's Donald Taylor from three. Seven point advantage from the red and white.

This game had the speed of a NASCAR race early. That continued to the second quarter, when Demetrius Rivers takes the ball to the hole on a nice drive to extend the Tornadoes lead to nine.

Then on the fast break, Keith McNeil comes up with the huge slam. Tornadoes up 13.

But Leon would stay in it and build their confidence all game. Big second chance points from Michael Lewis.

Bay held a two point lead at the half, but falls 68-63. Leon wins the Barnstorm Classic. The Tornadoes are now 9-3.
