Tornadoes Win Third Straight Game

Panama City, FL ---Heading into Thursday night at Tommy Oliver Stadium, the Bay Tornadoes were coming off successive wins over county rivals Arnold and Rutherford. They ended the night taking their third victory in a row over Chiles out of Tallahassee.

In the highlights shown above, Timberwolves got the ball first, but their drive stalls. They'd have to punt it away, which puts the ball in the hands of the ever dangerous Travion Turrell. He takes it 56 yards all the way to the Chiles 25. That's a potential Play of the Week nominee.

Tornadoes end up punching it in as Xavier Longerbeam fakes out the defense for the five yard score. 6-0 Bay. The point after no good.

The Bay defense came to play as well, as the Chiles run game was nonexistent. Daryl Wilson gobbles up the running back for a loss.

A few drives later Longerbeam airs it out and catches Robert Monroe in stride and he is long gone for 73 yards gone and a 12-0. Two point conversion was no good. 12-3 at the half after a Chiles field goal.

Third quarter action, Raekwon Webb takes the screen 35 yards down to the ten yard line. A few plays later, Webb finishes the drive off, jumps over the pile for the touchdown, as the Tornadoes go up 18-3.
Point after no good again.

Bay wins 18-10 as the Tornadoes take their third straight. They move to 5-4 on the season. If they beat Mosley next week, they're county champs.
