Panama City Beach, FL-- Tuesday night it was a 3-A district one matchup between Chipley and Arnold on the latter's diamond. We'll pick this one up in bottom of the first, man on second for Connor Sleeth who knocks one down the line, just fair, Ean Phillips comes around with the game's first run.
Chipley starter Taylor Smelcer though hangs tough, escapes further damage with the inning ending strikeout.
Top of the second, Tigers rally, Matt Wiesensale singles down the line, Will Bell hesitates, and is unable to score. A hit batsmen then loads up the bases, but Bronson Hill gets Colby Chance on strikes, then gets out of the inning on the tapper in front of the plate, Mckenzie makes the tag.
So it's still one zip into the 4th, Marlins make it 2-0 on Mckenzie's squibber to first, Reichart scores, but in the 7th, a single, 3 walks and two hit batsmen produces 3 runs for Chipley,
the Tigers get the comeback win 3-2.
