USFA World Series back at Frank Brown park

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla- Frank Brown Park is the center of yet another huge two week series of softball games.

In fact some 315 teams from all around the country, though mainly from the Southeastern U.S., are in the area playing as part of the United States Fastpitch Association World Series. Along with Frank Brown, games are being played at Harders Park, Callaway Sports Complex, Lynn Haven Sports Complex, and Oakland Terrace.

This week it's A and B class teams in age ranges from U-8 and under to U-14. Monday Tuesday and Wednesday was pool play, now their into the championship rounds which for the teams this week, will wrap up over the weekend.

Then next week, it's another 175 teams coming in, A and B classes, in some of the older age groups.

This World Series started at Frank Brown in 2001 with 50 teams, and has grown to 500 this year, the biggest year yet.
