Springfield, FL-- After a long ten days the Rutherford Rams and Wakulla War Eagles finally got to take the field in the Regional Quarterfinals.

The game was close throughout and could not be decided in 7 innings. But in the 8th Wakulla got hot and scored 3 unanswered runs, defeating Rutherford, 7-4.

The video attached should show the following:

Bottom fourth, Rutherford down a run until Kendall Heron sends a shot to center...Wakulla's centerfielder has a hard time tracking it down and that scores Al Thornton from second.

In the 6th Jeff Barnes hits a slapper over Harris' head which scores Jay Estes making it 4-3 Wakulla.

Still in the sixth, one out, Rams down a run when Herron does his job and sends a deep fly ball to left field, that scores Thornton from 3rd but a heads up play by Brandon Geiger who cuts off the throw and gets Tyler Chatman trying to tag up at third.

So we go to extra innings and the War Eagles wasted no time as Dillon Norman sends a screamer past the third baseman scoring Estes.
