Walker Wins Slam Dunk Title in Chicago

Chicago, IL---Let's just say it's a good start for Holmes senior Chris Walker up in Chicago, as he takes part in the McDonald's All American game and it's surrounding events.

The 6-10 215 pound center winning the Powerade Jam Fest Slam Dunk contest in Chicago Monday night, accumulating the most points with four dunks.

His third dunk of the night, the big bounce and into a windmill dunk, which the judges which included Bo Jackson, liked the best of his four.

Walker signed a few months ago with Billy Donovan and the University of Florida.

He's one of 13 players on the East team for the McDonald's game which is set for Thursday night. He's the first player from our area to ever get an invitation to play in this prestigious all star game.
