Will Muschamp
Florida Head Coach

"When you have some sort of change you grow with that change and that's what John has done. I'm very pleased through the offseason, with his work ethic and his approach through Spring practice and his catching on to what we're trying to do. I think he feels more comfortable in the things that we're doing and I've been very pleased with his progress. I think that John's built his confidence himself. And I think when you have a quarterbacks coach and coordinator like Charlie Weis the track record speaks for itself. And when Charlie has confidence in a guy like John that ought to bring confidence to John.

Brantley sat out last week's scrimmage with a sore back but Muschamp says he'll be ready come Saturday. Jeff Driskel, the true freshman is the backup qb. That game in the Swamp Saturday night at 7 eastern, Gators favored by 35.
