Will Muschamp continues to work his Gators towards their opener in just over three weeks, and he's upbeat about how his offense is working so far.

Gainesville, FL-- To college ball and down to Gainesville where Will Muschamp continues to work his Gators towards their opener in just over three weeks. One big task for the Gators, get that offense back on track. The hope is Charlie Weis' pro style system will suit senior q-b John Brantley, who was absolutely lost in Urban Meyer's spread attack last season. Muschamp says so far, so good on that.

Will Muschamp
Florida Head Coach

"Offensively I think we've done a nice job of tailoring the offense for the quarterback, which limits the amount of things you have to carry. And we knew it going in, Charlie and I talked about let's find out who we are. So let's put 'em in situations let's find out who we can count on inside, outside, whatever the case may be. And now we've kind of honed down to what we are and we're repping those things. I think the players, especially the older guys who've got a lot of turns and reps feel very comfortable."

The Gators open September 3rd against FAU.
