Marianna, FL-- We start today with another look ahead to round two of the high school baseball playoffs. The Marianna Bulldogs among the 6 area teams prepping for their respective region semifinals. Thanks to the 16-2 romp over Florida Tuesday, the Bulldogs will face district rival Catholic for a 4th time this season. They lost the previous three, including a ten nothing loss in the district title game last week, still the Dogs will head west confident they can pull off the upset Friday night.

Andy Shelton
Marianna Head Coach

"The one time that we went over there towards the end of the year we lost in the last at bat for them 7-6. So my guys kind of know that they can play with 'em. And things work out a little bit we stay in the game we might be able to be fortunate enough to pull something out at the end. But we definitely got our work cut out for us."

The Bulldogs go into that game 20-7, Catholic is 24-4.
