Young To Return to Gators for Senior Season

Gainesville, FL---The Florida Gators eliminated in the Elite 8 by Michigan, Patric Young certainly wants another shot at making the final four.

The 6-foot-9, 249-pound junior center saying Monday he's coming back for his senior season at Florida, certainly good news for Billy Donovan and Gator Nation.

Also good news for Holmes senior Chris Walker, who's heading to Florida this fall, he'll get the advantage of mentoring up Young, a physical post player, who averaged 10.1 points and a team-high 6.3 rebounds this season.

Young, projected to be a late first- or early second-round pick in the upcoming NBA draft, so there was some logic to him jumping if he so desired.

His priority in the offseason will be his conditioning and improving his offensive game and free throw shooting. Donovan's criticized Young for not being able to play through fatigue and for being a non factor in games when he is tired.
