Gainesville, FL-- The Florida Gators are now in Omaha Nebraska, site of the College World Series. Though they did fall behind visiting Mississippi State in the final game of their super regional Sunday, they rallied to get the comeback win 8-6. That giving Kevin O'Sullivan and his guys back to back trips to Omaha. Last year they were a two quick games and done in the 8 team tourney. O'Sullivan admitting the many distractions surrounding the event hurt his club and he's determined not to let that happen again.

Florida Head Coach

"It was almost like the end of the road and they were happy to get there. And I'm hoping this year they understand it's one more step. It's gonna be very difficult, but for me personally, it felt like everything was rushed when we got out there and the next thing we know, it's the 5th inning and we were down. That totally falls on my shoulders, that's something that I learned from experience last year and I hope we can do a better job this year."

As for injured starter Brian Johnson, who's been out since suffering that concussion in the SEC Tournament, the doctors have cleared him to play in Omaha. Austin Maddox remains a day to day decision. The Gators open up Saturday night against Texas 6 central.
