Auburn, AL--The Auburn Tigers are now working through the second week of Spring drills and it's all about pacing in terms of putting in the new offense for Gene Chizik.
Chizik's working to try to determine a starting quarterback going into the Fall.
With a new coordinator and new system in place, well figuring out how fast to throw things at Mosley, Frazier and the other young qb.'s is a dilemma of sorts.
"You know you have to give them enough where you trying to get 80 percent of your playbook in, somewhere in that realm." says Chizik. "But at the same time you can't move so fast that you move to the next thing and they don't really understand where you're at. So there's really a fine line in there. We haven't thrown everything at them but we've moved at a pretty rapid pace, at least this early. And we've got to be very judicious moving forward on what the next thing is that we give them."
The Tigers will wrap Spring with the A-Day game April 14th.
