When Mike Krzyzewski sends the men's team out against Spain in the Olympic gold medal game Sunday, it will be his last as the U.S. coach.
Krzyzewski has told The Associated Press he's stepping down from the role after seven years on the job.
The highly accomplished Duke coach had left open the possibility of staying with the team beyond the London Games, but before practice on Saturday said these will be his last Olympics.
Krzyzewski guided the U.S. team to the Olympic gold medal four years ago in Beijing and to the world championship in 2010.
