CHARLOTTE, NC-- The NFL has pulled one of its replacement officials before the New Orleans-Carolina game. The NFL made the decision just hours before kickoff after learning that side judge Brian Stropolo is a Saints fan.

Stropolo is from New Orleans and had posted several photos of himself in Saints gear tailgating at a preseason game on his Facebook page.

Stropolo worked the Week 1 NFL opener between the Cowboys and Giants.
